Hello, and welcome to the Glitzy Revival world. 

My name is Rossella, and I have spent my whole life being told I look like I stepped out of a 1940s or 1950s film.

For a long time, I took it simply as a compliment. Then, gradually, I began to understand it as something more: a direction. An aesthetic that was already mine, waiting to be fully embraced.

Glitzy Revival is what happened when I calmly listened.

 

Where This Began

My relationship with beauty goes back a few decades. I worked as a makeup artist, built experience across the industry, and eventually launched my first brand in 2020 — Glitzy Vegan Makeup — a cruelty-free, vegan makeup line rooted in the genuine belief that beauty should cause no harm, only joy.

The products were beautiful. The values were right. The feedback was great. But something essential was missing. The world I had always wanted to build — one steeped in Golden Age Hollywood glamour, in the ritual of beauty, in the elegance of another era brought thoughtfully into the present — wasn’t fully there yet. The spirit hadn’t found its form.

So I paused. I listened. And I let the idea breathe until it was ready.

 

The Revival

During that stillness, I came back to something I had always known about myself: that I am genuinely, unashamedly enamoured with the vintage aesthetic.  The clothing, the atmosphere, the makeup — the whole world of mid-century glamour feels not like a costume to me, but like a natural language.

Silky, glowing skin. Softly waved hair—a red lip worn as an expression of personality. And yet, I have no desire to live in the past. What draws me is the conversation between then and now — the way classic elegance, when paired with modern intention and ethical values, becomes something entirely its own.

That is Glitzy Revival—vintage glamour, reimagined with the freshness of modernity.
